Good night little flower
Her wisdom rises in the sky so high,
for she alone marks the time on nigh.
Countless ages have passed her test,
until earth’s surface comes to rest.
Many trust her, and some give fear,
calling on Moms with child to bear.
Round and sleek she knows her way,
sometimes shining the color of clay.
Full moon is here, grasp her power,
for soon she will fade upon the hour.
When all the stillness of night shall fall,
until we meet again and she will call.
So, good night moon, and good bye power,
good night fear, and good bye trust,
good night wisdom, and good bye color,
sleep now little baby, perfect as a flower.
